Welcome to Queen's Grant Community School

Located just south east of Charlotte, N.C. in the town of Mint Hill, you will find Queen's Grant Community Charter School. This school opened its doors in August of 2002 starting with grades K-5 and an enrollment of 643 students. Since its opening we have added an additional grade each year until we reached full capacity in 2005 with an enrollment of 720 students in grades Kindergarten - 8th. Since that time the school must hold an annual lottery each year to determine which applicants will have an opportunity to attend.

The Mint Hill community welcomed Queen's Grant with open arms. A lot of our parents have said, "it is just what they have been looking for!" It seems to be a perfect match for many of the families who grew up here, or who relocated here from another state. We are not saying our school is for everyone, but for the ones who have chosen to go here, it seems to be the right fit. It is often said that our atmosphere is one of warmth, surrounded by friendly, caring staff and parents who work together as a team to accomplish the goals that we have for the students who attend our school.

We invite you to experience the difference this school makes. Please visit us, don't just take our word about the school, please come and see first hand, because, after all, choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will have to make.
